Stretching
This is a very important aspect of not only fitness but also general health. Stretching helps relax the muscles and decrease muscle soreness, increase strength through flexibility, decrease the risk of muscle injuries during exercise as well as everyday activities. Sitting all day can tighten the muscles and cause pain in some areas of the body such as lower back pain.
Each class will help you get a deeper stretch and further equip you to be able to do this on your own. The length of class will depend on how tight you are. Longer classes should be for those that are very tight and need to increase some flexibility. Shorter classes would be for a relaxing stretch for maintenance of mobility.
