Thanksgiving Cabbage Loaf
Serves 5-7
Ingredients:
1 medium Green Cabbage
1 Quart Half-n-half
1 Cup Flour
2 tsp Salt
1 stick Butter or vegan alternative
1 package Saltine crackers
Method:

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Remove outer leaves of cabbage, wash, and carefully remove core with knife.

Cut cabbage into small pieces and place in large covered kettle with an inch of water. Steam for 5-10 minutes.

Drain cabbage well and pat dry.

Blend half-n-half, flour, and salt in blender.

In greased pan, layer the cabbage, butter, and crackers from the bottom to the top.

Pour half-n-half mixture over layered cabbage.

Bake until cooked through and not runny (~40-50 minutes). If not cooked all the way but the top is burning, cover the dish with aluminum foil and continue baking until cooked.
